Department Nedas drama group
In the year 2007, a drama group was created. The NEDAS Drama group was established to combat the constraints encountered in effective information disseminating. The tradition methods have proved to be less effective and this was a serious challenge. There was need to respond to changes in new demands in stimulating alertness so as to achieve long term learning .
Previously , almost all information was passed over in form of seminars and workshops . This is effective but has its limitations . Where such information as HIV/AIDS awareness and child-upbringing is paramount, seminars and workshops have proved less effective. Poor attendance and weak alertness were regularly recorded setbacks . Through entertainment in form of drama and comedy, the organisation has achieved the set objective and the results have been recorded from both participants response and cost effectiveness.
