Project Cycle Management’ course
This is a course meant for the Nedas executives and volunteers interested in improving their management skills together with Leaders and representatives of other diaspora organisations, it's a three days duration course organised by Oxfam Novib and Glaro-Great Lakes Region Organisation.
Day 1; Planning:Introduction in the project cycle and participatory planning (OOPP): Day 2; Planning: selection of strategies, identification of risks, indicators: Day 3;Appraisal, monitoring and evaluation

- Introduction (objectives, programme) and expectations
- International consensus on development effectiveness
- Projects and the project cycle
- Introduction participatory planning (problem analysis-general)
- 2 Sub-groups: problem analysis on own cases
- Presentation and reflection

Day 2; Planning: selection of strategies, identification of risks, indicators

- Selection of strategies and intervention logic (incl. 2 subgroups)
- Introduction external factors and risks

- Sub-groups: formulation of indicators/sources of verification

Day 3;Appraisal, monitoring and evaluation

Exercise on appraisal of logical framework
- Introduction to monitoring: importance, link with planning, etc.
